this thread is in regard to the free generic graphics in the generic images forum. These are avatars/signatures/icons/buttons that no one has claimed as their
own, that anyone can use (and just because one person uses it does not mean you can't), and they are called "generic" because no one's name
is on them. This forum has different threads for different types of graphics. Please only reply to these threads if you wish to contribute your own generic
images. If you do wish to submit your own material as free for anyone to use, please make sure you have not used any copyrighted material or resources
requiring a link back to the creator in whatever it is. If someone wants a link back to them/their website for credit, they should say so before listing the
image(s). If there is no note about linking back, then you don't have to assume that a link back is necessary.
signatures, avatars, etc. that are being used by people posting things for people to use are not considered fair game. I have signatures disabled in that forum to reduce confusion over what is actually allowed to be used, but avatars are not disabled, so do not take people's avatars beneath their name.
also, please remember not to do your chatting in this forum!! It increases the number of replies that people have to sort through to get to the images. I will delete/hide them if I have to.
